About This Course
Central Anatolia Region, or the heartland of Türkiye, is surrounded by mountain ranges and made of large plains and plateaus. This unique geography has offered a sanctuary for people who are in pursuit of a safe heaven. The region is also where early human settlements are found in archaeological excavations.
Offering great travel options and different experiences in each city, the Central Anatolia Region has also historical significance as it has been home to many civilizations throughout centuries from early settlements of the Neolithic ages to the modern Turkish Republic. The region nests historical landmarks, religious buildings, underground cities, paired with the wonders of the mother nature, including dramatic valleys, fairy chimneys, and watersheds that are home to many bird species.
